This works comprised of the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of a new three storey Garda District Headquarters building; Garage building with divisional property and exhibit store building; external store building; ESB sub station and associated site works including car parking; landscaping and extensive Public Road work trenching in bringing new ducted electricity supply. Lift, Mechanical and Electrical installations with Sustainable energy being incorporated.

Constructed on reinforced concrete pad and strip foundations with reinforced concrete frame; reinforced concrete walling and insitu reinforced concrete. 1st & 2nd floor slabs and insitu concrete stairs. External cavity wall was facing brick and block/plastered. Traditional slates on prefabricated roof trussed and cut roof sections. Powder coated aluminum windows, doors and curtain walling was used. The Divisional property store had a structural steel frame. This project was carried out to a very high spec finish including all internal walls and floor finishes. Site works included car parking, security fencing and landscaping to the exterior.

Works to the Main Street included extensive duct installed underground to remove overhead lines; Kerbing; Paving; Tarmac; Disabled access ramps; Street Lighting and street furniture. Sustainable and renewable features included Solar Roof panels.
